I moved in June. The moving boxes were not delivered at the appointment time we scheduled. When I called, Taggabox denied that I had ever made an appointment. It was only after I provided proof that my credit card had been charged that my reservation was "found." The boxes were delivered several hours late. This took 4 phone calls and was unnecessarily inconvenient. On my move day, the movers were two hours late, such that I was in serious jeopardy of missing the deadline to be out of my condo. I made a point to schedule the first move of the day. Then after calling to find out where they were, I learned that the arrival time I had been provided was a "window" but that the start time was the time that the movers arrived at work at Taggabox's office, not when they would arrive at my house. Why would I need to know when they arrive at Taggabox? This was not clearly communicated, as evidenced by the other reviewers' complaints. I believed the move would start at 8am, and it was closer to 10 when they arrived. The worst, though, was when the movers flat out refused to move my stacked washed and dryer, which is a common set-up in condos. They expressed concern over damaging it. I told them that a damaged w/d was better than NO w/d, which is what I would have if they refused to move it. After multiple calls with the owner, she agreed that they would move the w/d if I signed a release, and I agreed to do that. The movers nonetheless refused to move it, and the owner said she would stand behind her movers. We were just a couple of hours from 4:00, the time my cleaners were set to arrive. Finally the company located an appliance moving specialist (don't most moves involve appliances? why is a specialist needed and why was I not told this when I made the reservation? if this was a potential problem why would they not have asked me if I was moving appliances when they made the reservation?) but there was real doubt that he would be able to make it to the condo before the deadline for me to be out. If they had identified this problem at the beginning rather than waiting until the end of the move to refuse to move my w/d, timing would not have been such an issue. In the end, I had to sell the washer and dryer to the buyer of my condo for $650, just 5 months after I purchased them new for more than $1400. The only compensation Taggabox agreed to pay was waiving a $100 est. trip charge. This company's unprofessionalism cost me $650. Taggabox created a great deal of stress during my move. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Incredibly slow and unprofessional.. who take four and half hours to move one bed room stuff within half miles.. I paid 480 dollars while I was getting fixed 250 dollars rate from couple of other movers. Broke my entertainment unit, I was so frustrated that I let them go or else they would have taken 2 more hours which would have been equal to furniture cost. Would never recommend to even my enemies

wow, where to start? 1. The movers arrived 2 hours late (with no explanation) on moving day (I needed to be out by a certain time due to a closing). 2. The movers were slow and really dragged it out for the hourly fee. 3. My children overheard them making fun of me (unprofessional), because I was "mean" (see: 2 hours late). 4. Did extensive damage to the front door, and denied it, until shown photos (still not resolved, after multiple attempts to contact). 5. "Customer service," when contacted re: the damage, was horrible, screamed into the phone, called me names and hung up on me (see: unprofessional). 6. Left items behind at the house, which needed to be personally retrieved in my own car. Also denied this. I paid you to move my items. 7. When I contacted another customer service rep regarding the unprofessional behavior of the first rep, I was promised that this was "not how they do business" and was assured I would receive a discount on services at the end of the move. 8. When contacted at the end of the move, this same rep then said "yeah, we're not going to offer any discount" and then told me that if I didn't pay the full amount, the movers were instructed to stay IN MY HOME until I did. Seems like threats are how they get paid for shoddy work. My credit card company, fortunately, agrees with me that the services paid for were NOT rendered, and it's currently under dispute. A Better Business Bureau complaint has also been filed. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE THIS COMPANY. And check if your company is subcontracting out (which is what happened to me, completely unaware), and find out WHO they are sending. I can only hope what happened to me does not happen to anyone else; I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

#Tackybox I don't know where to begin but this company is unprofessional and actually quite bad. They broke items and packed them still. Then they were on the phone and taking several breaks. The workers are rude and smelled of cigarettes. The front you see on pictures is just that, a cover for a bunch of hoodlums showing up at your door. Oh and I know that being licensed there is not a requirement because one mover admitted that his paperwork wasnt up to date. I was still told that the job would be completed but it was half done. No they didn't get a tip. In fact this review is the only tip they deserve. The company is completely corrupt because after being made aware, no business would ever allow this. Never trust them. #Tackybox
