The quality was very good and they had some interesting dishes. I think the price was a bit high for the ingredients and overall creativity though. I would prefer to go to Shiki for these prices, felt Takao was missing that wow factor that they are charging for.

Takao still provides an exceptional culinary experience. The cuts of his fish carried the day, with the wait staff providing immediate and courteous service. Kudos to the team.

This review is not five stars because it seemed as if the portions were smaller in quantity and variety than my two previous visits (noted on Yelp). I believe they are making an effort to remain at the prices I recall from my 2014 visit, although, again, price is not a real issue when visiting Takao.

I will return, so it's not like I'm upset. :)

Excellent fresh sushi. Solid Japanese food and sushi options. Definitely worth a visit.

Food is generally good, but sushi  bar itself is pretty small . A bit noisy environment, not good place for private talks or romantic dinner .
