I went here based off the fact that I had heard great things about Taquiza. Well, I was disappointed to say the least. Both my SO and I ordered two tacos, along with the grilled corn to share. When the tacos came out, they were small portions, with no fixings. So basically, they serve the meat of choice on a blue corn tortilla and you can put whatever fixings you want on it from the condiments bar (includes radish, onions, cilantro and lime). I thought it was just not worth the value because for $3.50 at Bodega, for example, I can get the Al Pastor taco that has all of the fixings on it and is way larger in portion. When I went to pay for the items, it came out to $20.71 and I had a 20 dollar bill. So I paid with that and told the guy to put the $0.71 on my debit card. As he was proceeding to do so, he mentioned after the fact that the minimum to charge the card was $2.00. So I told him that I would like a Jamaican tea, which was advertised on the menu as $2.00. He then told me as he was swiping my card that it was actually $5.00 but the menu had not been changed. I was pissed at this point and expressed frustration so he just gave me the tea and didn't charge me. I just think this place could be better in terms of their offerings since they are literally across from the beach, I am sure they can afford to add a bit of fixings to the tacos to make them somewhat competitive to Coya and Bodega.

Incredible, flavorful & quick food!!! This place is perfect for a combination of a quick snack with top of the line ingredients and flavors! I was blown away- I ordered the eloté (spicy and creamy corn shown in photo) and it was fantastic. Fair prices and the food came out quickly! Also the place itself is too cute- outdoor seating surrounded by tropical plants. Perfect for an afternoon spent in South Beach ✨

Delicious little hole in the wall taco place with the best tacos I've ever had. It's set in from the road and easy to miss if driving. Small size tacos with big flavor. Highly recommended for cheaper eats in the area.

This is a really cool place to buy tacos or coffee. They really seem to be passionate about what they make and want to sure you enjoy everything. They are extremely organized even after you order they provide a buzzer to know when your food is ready. It's a tad pricy as they're prices are per taco. The tacos are very small but with 3 I did feel full. All in all they are very tasty if you are willing to hand out 9.75 for 3 fist size tacos. They coffee was very good, I really appreciated the extra work my barista put into making it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend to check out.

The food was kinda the same as everywhere else. The location is a great one, right across the street from the beach. Outdoor seating is almost non-existent. No indoor area. The wait in line took about 45 minutes on a Thursday at around 6pm.
