I believe the Owner does most of the cooking. But anyway, whoever the cook is, He/She can cook for me all the time. Wow, the food here is finger licking good. And trust me,  I know good tasting food. If you don't mind small spaces, I would recommend this place for everyone who enjoy good homemade   style Soul Food.

The food was too pricey but you do get a good amount for what you pay for. The food was ok. I was not happy about the grits and shrimp. Plate was runny. The older lady was insisting a tip from me over and over again after I told her I came and  up my own food. That did annoy me.

If you used to eat at John’s Place then you need to go to Tastey’s. They have not skipped a beat! Food is still as good as it has always been. & they are located close to my home. Never dissatisfied with the sisters. :-)
