Being a Star Trek nerd and a vegan, this seemed like the perfect spot to stop while on a road trip upstate. I didn't realize that it was inside of a used book store, up on the second floor, but it wasn't hard to find at all. There are some Star Trek-related articles posted on the wall and some figurines on a table along a pillar, but other than that and Star Trek-themed items on their menu, that was the extent of the Star Trek theme.

I was a little disappointed in the fact that the cashier had NO IDEA what I was talking about when I asked, "Do a lot of people come up to you and say, 'Tea, Earl Grey, hot!'?" She gave me a blank stare and then said, "So ... you want Earl Grey tea?" *sigh* She also didn't seem to be all that nice either, so ugh.

All that aside, the food was great. I got the BBQ Tacos from the StarTruck menu, which had soy curls that had been marinaded in a BBQ sauce, and the Starfleet salad. The salad was pretty basic (lettuce, tomato, red onion, black olives, Daiya vegan "cheese") but you get a choice of dressings (I went with a curry dressing that didn't really taste that much like curry, but it was still tasty). But the tacos were really delicious and were topped with their house-made coleslaw, and even eating just one of them with the salad was plenty filling. (I ended up eating the other taco for dinner.)

Next time I come through Ithaca, I'll stop by again, for sure. There are a handful of gluten-free options, it seems, so I'll try something else!

FINALLY got here today and was very happy with my Chk Un Wrap with delicious greens on the side. Was also very happy to see the Star Truck menu up there. I will definitely be going back here soon!

I really like this place - very delicious and super friendly.  My one suggestion would be to move the blender so the sound is somehow dampened, because it really kills the vibe.

Awesome food!  BLT was phenomenal.  Reuben was great.  Coffee is incredible.  Cupcakes were among the best we've ever had.  Owner is super friendly and her staff is great.  They take pride in their food and it shows.  I've been to many vegan restaurants and this place is among the best.
