Story

Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent.

Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

Yesssss! One of my favorite places when I need to relax. It is pricey for sure so it's hard for me to go often but when I do go... A-MA-ZING! The smell itself there is just calming and great. The bathrooms to change and stuff are pretty small although there are two sides. Each side has a set of lockers (you don't have to pay for), three showers, and two sinks. There are blow dryers of you need. They do provide excellent lotion, hair shampoo and conditioner, and body wash. I have had a massage there and it was absolutely amazing! It went so fast but felt so good and then to be able to get in the hot tub or sauna after 😍! There are private tubs and areas and there are community tubs. BATHING SUITS ARE OPTIONAL. They do have a men's tub, a women's tub, and one mixed. The private tubs do include a sauna, hot tub, of course, and a cold plunge (little tub to dip in with FREEZING water). The only reason I can't give five stars is just the price (not only the tubs, massages, and lodging, but also the products they sell are expensive) But if it was not for the price, five stars!!!

Parking could have been an issue if we came later in the evening however we found parking at the top by the spa entrance. Massage and private spa was very relaxing. Will definitely come back again. Overall this was a great experience.

My favorite spa in the world!  The scent of pine while soaking in a hot tub outside relaxes you and gets you ready for your massage.  Be sure to get a complete package.  We also enjoyed the neck and foot massages which were probably the best of the experiences there.  The staff is incredible!

New Mexico at it's finest. Built into a hillside with Oriental traditional feel. Spa experience for couples and family. Our dream come true for ultimate relaxation in a clean professional crunchy granola minded indoor outdoor space. Enjoy the benefit of the N ew Mexico weather as you wash away stress and anxiety. This spa is a must every time I am in Santa Fe. The community pool is very clean and well stocked. The sauna is hot hot hot with two heaters and there is plenty of room with two tears of benches. The dressing rooms have pretty much everything you would need and if it isn’t there, the front desk has it. The restaurant on the property is absolutely delicious and the staff feels like family. Don’t forget you can buy the kitchen a six pack! They appreciate it greatly.
