Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend camping and attending the Texas Renaissance Festival. Good times, good friends, and good food. Can't wait until the next time.

I went to this venue for the Middle Lands festival. I'm disappointed that they will not be hosting it again because residents complained about the noise. It's business they lose out on. What a shame! Beautiful venue though full of venues to sell their products and walk around.

Great place to go and have a good time, especially after dark.

This is a bare bones camping area. But faire goers love it. Campers bring all sorts of rv's, tents, castles, teepee s, gerry rigging whatever's, cars, etc. I do not ever see semi-trucks but do see 45' class A's & C's coming in. No hook ups but they do have a dump site for gry/blk water tanks & Fresh water fill sites both located just inside the entry gates. Also just inside entry gates, are most of the facility structures and the quiet zone camping area. There is a bath house (prices vary each year for shower usage)with a small room attached for post shower activities (outlets for your blow dryer, sink for brushing teeth), , there is a restroom facility and grocery store, at the store there is ice, firewood, drinks, food items, camping supplies and some souvenirs. No generators after 10pm. Quiet time starts at 10pm.(see down sides) In the not quiet area, nightly bonfires, games, parties, people watching, outhouses, hot food stand for burgers, hotdogs & pizza. For handicap campers, recommended to camp in the quiet zone near entrance where you are closest to the facilities, unless you are a serious diehard😋. Be aware...the ground is uneven and rough, basically a field that is mowed to height of 6-8". Inside the faire the ground is still uneven though getting around is much easier. DOWN SIDES to the 'quiet' zone...this is where the large 'after hours' party tent is set up...and the music is deafening, so bring ear plugs. Of course the party starts at 10pm! DOWN SIDES to the non-quiet zone...no sleep, NOT family friendly, packed in like sardines. For handicap campers, parking is provided closer to the actual entrance to the faire. I would give it 5 stars if not for the undesirable location of after dark party tent. Side note: camp grounds open on Fridays and shut down on Monday. One exemption is Thanksgiving weekend, camp grounds open on Thursday(but not the bath house) since the faire is Fri-Sun for holiday.
