If you are looking for a cheap place to have some quality USDA Choice steak, Texas Roadhouse is the place to be. To get the most out of your money, I'd recommend picking out your cut of meat when you walk in. That way you'll see both the quality and marbling of what you'll be eating. I got a Bone-In Ribeye and it was delicious. Very juicy and tender. The service is usually good and the prices are fair. Satisfied with my visits.

My boyfriend and I came in from out of town and as soon as we mentioned that it was our first time at the host desk we were given the best service! We loved the fresh baked rolls that came with us to our table. We started with the cactus blossom and that sauce!!! We couldn’t get enough. We came for lunch so we just split a pulled pork sandwich which was delicious. The manager also came out to greet us and gave us a couple of samples from the kitchen. Which were fantastic, I’ve got to get that green bean brine recipe. Altogether we had a great experience with strong margaritas and a hard working server named Chase. We can’t wait to come visit Family and Texas Road House again here in Abilene.

Our steaks were wonderful. It was so good we took the leftovers with us. They had a very bad problem in the ladies room. We told them about it but they didn’t seem concerned.

I have eaten here many times over the years. Everything is always very good. The staff is always friendly, and professional. Steak is always cooked just like I like it. It is always clean. Never have to wait very long even during the busiest times like Friday nights. I will defiantly return.

I don’t usually write reviews but I need to do one for this restaurant. I took my family to celebrate my son’s birthday, super exited to eat at a Texas Roadhouse in TEXAS for the first time. After traveling from out of town, we made a stop at Abilene to celebrate my Son’s birthday. Everything was fine until I got my side of fries. The portion was little smaller than usual; I ask the server to confirm if it was the right amount and if I could get a little more. He didn’t seem to be happy about this and he told me it was the right serving size. I ask for the manager and he brought another side of fries with no problem. The next event is what made a very bad experience. I notified the server that it was my son’s birthday and I ask if it was possible to get the group to sing happy birthday and bring the classic saddle for the kid. They brought the saddle and signed happy birthday, but lack of enthusiasm and desired to sign didn’t displayed the charisma we are used to in other Texas Roadhouse restaurants. Typically, the birthday boy will get a small cup of ice-cream or something, not event that, the server didn’t event offer a desert for him. We left the restaurant with a bad flavor and a sad experience. I get sometimes days are long and customers are annoying, but don’t lower customer service standards because you are tired or you don’t like the customer.
