Definitely worth the drive and money to visit Texas State Railroad! We enjoyed the Polar Express ride they have at Christmas time! It's fun family entertainment. You will find yourself dancing and singing along with the cast. Take a chance, you won't be disappointed!

We went to the Polar Express Holiday Train Ride. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience! From the time we got there, every 'character' we encountered was full of energy and brought the story to life. The excitement when we got to the North Pole was just astounding! We had as much fun as the kids did. Santa came on the train and gave each child their own silver bell to complete the story experience. It was so much more than I expected!

This was a magical night for our daughter and for us! Everything was exactly like the book, and especially matched the movie! The children were all given golden tickets to board the polar express, and the classic steam engine has Polar Express painted on the side. While gathering to board the train the conductor spoke with a young boy, saying exactly what the conductor did to the boy in the movie, and he then announced "all aboard!" I've got a schedule to keep"! While we were on our way to the "North Pole" the costumed conductor came and punched the children's richest, and the costumed waiters sang and danced before serving us hot chocolate and cookies. When we arrived at the "North Pole " Santa boarded the grain and gave silver bells engraved with "Polar Express " to all of the children. It was all just wonderful and magical, and we felt like we were living out the movie! Although it was expensive, I think it was worth every penny to see the smile on my daughter's face and the delight in her eyes. I would recommend this to any family that wants to create an amazing Christmas memory!

This is a wonderful and wonder filled train ride. VERY courteous and helpful serving staff who are very good with the children. This was our second trip and enjoyed it even more even though it was drizzling rain, and everyone else had a good time as well. The kids love the bells Santa gives out, as well as the hot cocoa and cookies.

We experienced Polar Express. Everything was top notch. The chefs danced and read the story. Hot chocolate and cookies were served as well as a souvenir mug. Santa brought each child a bell that has polar Express imprinted in it. Also everyone receives a golden ticket which the conductor punches!!
