Interesting American pub. Expensive beer - sometimes very strong by UK standards. Food good. Cocktails reasonable. If you like American sports, they have 7 or 8 big screens to watch. Good atmosphere.

Kyle was awesome! Being as it was my first time, he provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long time and being in the restaurant industry for 15 years it definitely had an impact. The service was quick and on point . The food, from a chefs point of view was superb. From the soft pretzels and beer cheese app, where the beer flavor and the cheese explodes on your taste buds like fireworks at a fourth of July festival, to the crab cake sandwich where I could taste the crab and see it wasn't just mainly filler.

I will be frequenting this establishment often.

Mondays are burger nights apparently, which was a pleasant surprise. Great price and a great burger. Sat down instantly and service was great, even when our waitress had at least 5 other tables. Took my mom and my sister who both thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. Pro tip: the Thai Shrimp were a mouth-buzz to say the least. Would definitely eat here again and probably within the week.

This place is closer to a 3.5/5. I wish I had more to say about the Ale House that was positive, it wasn't a bad experience, but wasn't at all what I was expecting. I assumed it would be more like a modernized pub/tavern, but in reality it is just a sports bar. Probably great for game-crowds, but not great if you're looking for some good one on one time with a friend. On a Monday night, with less than 15 people in the restaurant it took nearly 15 minutes to get just drinks, and their cocktails, although tasty and creative, were pretty watered down. I'd go back, but it wouldn't be on a relaxing weekday or with a single person.

Very good food.  Nice atmosphere.  If you like drinking ales, then this is a great place.  You're out of luck if you prefer a different style.  Then again, the name of the place should put you on notice.
