My husband and I are visiting from PA so we always look for new places to visit when out and about. Absolutely loved this place! We had breakfast sandwiches and they were so tasty and filling. We also picked up some muffins from their day old section that is buy one get one. Can't wait to devour those as well!

I do not normally review places online. However, my wife and I had a tremendous experience here. We were greeted near closing by the owner and an employee and the service was exceptional. We ordered a hummus sandwich on an everything bagel, as well as a BLT. Before leaving I chatted with the owner, and he was very enthusiastic about great food. I frequently drive past Newton on my way to work, and will be stopping by again.

Good service, nice people, good place to gather. BUT the bagels are steamed instead of boiled. Soft instead of chewing. Spongy instead of dense.

Wow. Place is a gem on a busy road, driven past it many times. There bagels are out of this world. I love the chipotle cheddar bagel for a bacon egg and chz sandwhich. The muffins and cookies are to doe for. I have to hold back when i go there, its so good! Totally worth an extra gym day to splurge here lol!

The gold standard for service and sandwiches. The staff are courteous and funny, everything is made to order, and you'd have a hard time making eggs that fluffy at home. Oh yeah, and virtually all of their meats are Boar's Head. The Bagel Place features inspired experimental bagel flavors that change regularly (brarbles, heady topper bagels, as well as ghost pepper/swiss are all heroes of the bagel pantheon) and unique cream cheese blends. The coffee is great, the cookies and muffins are excellent, and the Baja is among the finest breakfast sandwiches you'll ever eat. Continually impressed with the number of spicy items that pop up on the menu as well as the weekly sandwich specials. And for the record, a basic egg bagel with lox and cream cheese is great here; if they can do inventive so well you know more basic stuff is just excellent. They also have salads :). All the love for the Bagel Place.
