The Bier Stein

So, the beer is great, the food is great. You will NOT be disappointed by that. But the server attitudes are off-putting. There are one or two that are phenomenal, but half the time it feels like I am inconveniencing the servers by being there. This is kind of an issue in a lot of places in Eugene, but with how great the food and beer selection is here, it is exceptionally disappointing. I always tip, I have no food allergies or special requests, I don't care if something is more or less done than ordered, I am married and don't hit on waitresses. I even give feedback on recommendations when I love them. But, for some unknown reason, I am still treated as though I am bothering them. It honestly bothers me, because I have been a waiter before, and do my best everywhere to make things easy and have a positive attitude. My wife loves the beer cheese soup, so I will continue to come get it, and tip. But... Whoever is managing, have a meeting or something. I know Eugene is home to a lot of special snowflake whiners, but they gotta just let that go and be gracious and upbeat. People come to enjoy themselves, and the service should be better, because the product is top notch.

The Bier Stein is a unique tap house with amazing food. As well as an amazing beer selection. You either choose from their 20 plus rotating beer taps, or pick of their 1000 plus beer bottles from all over the world. The atmosphere inside is always cheerful and entertaining! The beer cheese soup is a must try in my books!

Awesome food and beer selection. Atmosphere is really fun and the menu items are tasty. You taste the quality of ingredients in every bite. Service is top notch! Check out EWENCH. You can log in on your phone, order food and drink directly from your table

My personal favorite beer shop in Oregon. They have a wide variety of Belgian Abbey Ales, I haven't seen Trappist for example since I was in Belgium, nor La Chouffe! Nice place to sit and eat as well, although they can get busy. They close the kitchen somewhat early, so don't wait too long to order!

Bierstein consistently delivers great libations, tasty food, and a casual, fun atmosphere. I could eat the nachos all day, and I love the constantly rotating taps and huge selection in the coolers. I'm pretty sure they've got everyone covered, including non-drinkers. :)
