Story

Poppi's Anatolia has been serving Greek and Indian food in downtown Eugene since 1987. The unique combination of cuisines provides a vast array of tastes, textures and culinary experiences. Hearty Greek peasant dishes and the more highly spiced Indian curries work well together. For instance, we offer the unusual opportunity to begin a meal with the traditional Greek Mezedakia, a combination of appetizers, dips, olives and breads; or a Classic Greek Salad made with tomatoes,bell peppers, cucumbers, and feta. Then, for a change of taste, Indian Shrimp Curry; fiery hot or mild with an exotic complexity of spices. Finally, select a dessert that will complete a journey in flavors around the world in the space of a meal.

I haven't been to Poppi's for a while. I've been missing out. I had peefectly seasoned pork chop and my friend had a delicious moist snapper. We were comfortable, warm, and talked to a jivin' live piano. We had a great evening.

Great food, good atmosphere. It's been a while since I've been, but I definitely remember why I used to come every birthday.

Our favorite in Eugene our home town. Poppi’s has been excellent since before we moved here 25 years ago. Greek and Indian cuisine. Really good choice of ingredients and great taste, always fresh, artistry with spices. We love the Greek salad, and they have excellent soups. The Vindaloo chicken is great if you love really spicy, the korma chicken or prawns if you like a bit more mild. The brizoles is an excellent pork chop, and either moussaka (Greek or Egyptian) is great for vegetarian.

Poppi's feels like it's all fresh, clean, absolutely delicious, and also more real and healthy than a lot of restaurants. 

Sundays are special, Greek night, with a reduced menu of Greek food, no Indian. The lamb skewers are on the Sunday menu, not always available on other nights.

The food was really good. I thought the portions were a bit small. It's one I those restaurants where you might need an appetizer or dessert to feel completely whole. 
That said I plan on going again and enjoying the meal!

Really good food. Employees can range from  super friendly to uppity, pretentious and just plain rude. Owners always nice and friendly.
