Was visiting Pittsburgh for work and decided to stop here for a break. Setup the reservation online, no problem. The staff was friendly. I feel lucky as I was the only person in the cat room while I visited, so I got a lot of attention from the cats. All of the cats I met were friendly. There were a lot of very playful kittens as well. The only complaint I had was that there was no coffee or food for sale, which is something you expect when you google "cat cafe" and this pops up.

One of my favorite Pittsburgh spots!! The kitties are so well cared for; I love that they get socialized before leaving to live their best lives elsewhere. Always clean, staff are friendly. Always cute things to buy, too.

I am really happy there The black cat market is open and available to adopt cats. The sad part is the caps didn’t seem happy.    They do sell toys and other items for cats and I think they should let  you buy them and give them to cats     if you’re in the area, make a reservation, but you have to do and stop by and check it out for yourself

I did not try the food while I was there, however I did pet kitties and it was amazing. My partner and I were running little late but they still honored our time slot. It's like hanging out in kitty heaven. You can't help but want to take them all home with you. The environment was really clean and they have a gift shop with adorable cat themed items.

If you love cats and coffee, then you’ll love The Black Cat Market!  You have to set up a reservation, but it is well worth it, because you get to play with cats and kittens for a half hour!

The Black Cat Market is such a quaint, well-kept cat cafe that offers not only fun cats to hang out with, but a great selection of local art as well. I love this place, and I actually adopted my kitty from here. The whole process was very easy and straightforward, and they got back to me very quickly. I highly reccomend taking visiting friends or family who are cat lovers. A great spot to sit and chat with friends while being surrounded by sweet kitties.

I visited with family who came from out of town, and we had such a sweet time among the kitties! The cats ranged in age from very young to distinguished elders, and it was such a chill atmosphere! What's better than a room full of cats?  It just felt so much nicer than seeing the kitties confined to cages when visiting other adoption places.  My brother in law adopted his little peanut from here! Go and hang out with a kitty and maybe adopt one!  Kid-friendliness: Great for kids who can be gentle with cats

I visited Black Cat Market twice before I adopted my cat through their organization. As a first time pet owner, I was shocked at how seamless the experience was. You can really tell the employees love the cats and that they are well cared for. Several of my friends have adopted cats through them too. Even if you aren’t in the market for a cat, I highly recommend going there to pet the kitties for some stress relief!

Incredible establishment. The staff are so kind and welcoming the kitties especially. It's the perfect place for a "pick me up", and it may even end with you falling in love with a cat and bringing them home at least, that's what happened with our family. The owner and partner rescue are doing incredible work, and you won't want to miss out on seeing it!

Great place! Great Staff! Super great kitties! I’ve visited black cat market a few times. The reservation process is easy and the space is always clean. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy and play with the beautiful, adoptable cats!
