If your a Chinese Communist Party face shackle enthusiasts, this isn't for you. This restaurant is small and cozy with mostly outdoor seating with a full bar. This place has been here for a long time and is a popular breakfast/brunch location. It's particularly patronized with Winter Texans this time of year. Shorts with white socks.. Dead giveaway! The menu is straightforward with offerings that can be found at other restaurants on the sandbar. The location is what sets it apart! The food is good and the portions are about right. The service is good and friendly even with the current situation of labor and supply shortages.. All in all its a great date spot. Try it out if you're in the area.. Plotted. Scouts Out.
Cute little place on the beach. Heaters kept it warm even in December. Excellent service and an awesome menu of modern drinks martinis and such. Fried seafood had a unique but delicious batter and I drooled over others plates that passed bye. Will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5
Diluted cocktails — Bummer. Great food with nice presentation plus pleasant staff and great ocean view. Went at midday on Wednesday, 20 July, and when I mentioned that my cocktail was quite weak, they “fixed it” not really then charged me for 2 cocktails. So be aware, and — if you must drink — order beer by the bottle or red wine.
The food was really good!! Can we say "Millionaire Coffee"? The service was really good from 3 different members of the waitstaff went 3 days in a row and the view is nice. Parking is questionable though. Parking: Parking for visitors is a little sketchy... We walked there from our condo 2 of 3 days we visited. However the 1 day we drove, our Mercedes was backed into by another patron.
All outdoor seating with a view of the beach. Not parking friendly, but worth it. Reasonable prices for a full plate of hot fresh food. Came on Monday morning, no crowds.
Went here for breakfast. We had maybe a 30 or 45 minute wait but the food was absolutely worth it!! Best breakfast I've had and the coffee drinks were so amazing. Reasonable prices and great service.
Loved this place. Wonderful view with wonderful people. And the food is so healthy. They use Olive Oil. Vegetarian options: Veg Burger Parking: Near the shop Dietary restrictions: Has healthy options.
Cafe on the Beach is easy to get to! Across the street from where we stayed. Good selection on the menu. I think our favorite was combo basket oysters and red snapper. Also had wedge salad w/Mahi. Thought everything was priced accordingly, good service and definitely had a relaxing evening with a beach view.
Place was pretty good. If your party of 5 or more you sit outside. My complaint here is none of our eggs party of 8 we're cooked right. They could have a outstanding meal if eggs we're not over cooked. Over all good place to eat but eggs we're just over cooked. View was great view of the ocean.
Great experience! Really good breakfast! Definitely going back!
