It's Saturday night, everyone is ready for dinner and so the adventurous family member picks where to go. The waiter was very very nice and attentive. There's a very nice view of the sand dunes and ocean. The food was served in great quantity, however it was not at all satisfying for me. The adventurous family member who chose Rocotto Grill was happy with and enjoyed it. I prefer spices over sauces with my food, and the food was flavored with sauce and in the case of my shrimp scampi, it was way over done.

Nice service by the staff. Went for dinner. Great location with a beautiful view of the ocean/beach. Food was so good. We had the tuna tiradito as a starter. The tuna was fresh and delicious and the sauce it came with was so flavorful. We couldn’t decide so we got the chafa rice, the ropa vieja and the saltado dishes. The chafa was my favorite and the rope vieja was my partner’s favorite. Everything was so yummy and we would definitely go back.  Parking: 20 spots plus on street parking. Could be busy depending on the season.

This location hasn’t been really successful for restaurants, but I hope it is for the Rocotto Grill. The beach view is beautiful and so is the restaurant, but the food is what really matters. I had a delicious, buttery and garlicky shrimp scampi with a glass of wine. Scrumptious! My husband had the shrimp with rocotto sauce which is kind of spicy but very good. However he but didn’t like that the shrimp came with the shell, tail and head on, and covered with sauce. It made getting to the meat very messy, and he didn’t like “wrestling” with his food. Haha! We will be coming back to this restaurant and look forward to trying different Peruvian dishes!

We ordered a variety of items from the restaurant the alo male fish is the traditional Peruvian dish. I ordered the aji panca fish and I didn’t think there was that much flavor. The rice didn’t have any flavor. We were so sad

I'm so glad I found this restaurant in SPI!  A must visit if you're in the area.  I really liked the vibe, very welcoming and charming.  Service was great and the food was amazing.  I highly recommend!!

Food was full of flavor and taste buds were enticed with such uniqueness flavor. It will definitely add spice to your palette.

Very nice family owned place, ceviche was incredible - see pic. We asked the owner to bring us his three favorites and he nailed it. Avocado shrimp was very spicy.  Highly recommend.

Delicious!! We had the Stuffed plagian tostones and the Cream rocoto fish ceviche and enjoyed every bite! We will be back!! You will not be disappointed if you give this unique and friendly restaurant a try!

Tostones rellenos were on point! And the Shrimp Chaufa was really good. Location is beautiful too with access to the beach!!!

Grilled salmon sushi was plain and dried. There was no sauce or anything on it. I got thousand island dipping sauce for it. This is not authentic sushi. Side veggies are cut cucumber skins and red radish skins? $13.00 meh Lomo saltedado chicken: 25% chicken, 35% fries, and 40% greasy fried rices. $17.99 not worth it  Overall experience was a meh.
