Being an owner in the food industry, you tented to have a sense of quality over cheap. This place definitely understands the quality side of service! Food was excellent and deliciously flavored. Personally had the Big Chief Burger, Mahi Tacos recommend doubling the corn tortillas, & outstanding Dockside Shrimp Nachos. Definitely a must try when visiting the island!
Great place to get both seafood and hamburgers! And the fries, wow! Hand cut, homemade fries, don’t need to order an extra order of fries, even when you are splitting their “The Big Chief Hamburger”. Our daughter had the shrimp tacos, she stated they were good but her corn tortillas were soggy. The side of coleslaw was very good, didn’t lack any seasoning.
Absolutely amazing!! I wish there were more stars to give this family owned restaurant. To start the owners are so kind. We ordered drinks and they noticed our baby so brought an apple sauce to keep her entertained. Now the food. The mahi sandwich is mind blowing. We ordered it and nachos with pulled pork. The freshness was obvious for everything we ordered. The French fries were crisp and being hand cut was even more of a treat. Others in our group ordered the lemonade and once again, amazing. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and sour all into a slush. Definitely need to plan to visit while at the island. The food is great, the service is perfect and the prices are just right.
The best shrimp tacos I've had, hands downs! Awesome french fries! My kids loved the burgers and hotdogs...they kept saying the "meat was good". Everything is freshly made! Definitely 5 stars!
Absolutely delicious! First time here and definitely coming back! Big portions and great flavors, the Pulled pork tasted like good Texan BBQ, the chicken sandwich is flavorful, and the hot dog was DELICIOUS! So worth it and conveniently close to the beach!
Absolutely did not disappoint!!! Location was perfect, right next to the water! Staff was very friendly and attentive! Food was phenomenal! We ordered the mahi sandwich, captain Henry dog, loaded fries & Buffalo wings! Everything was SO delicious! My kids also ordered the frozen lemonade & they loved it!! Perfect end to our vacation at SPI!!!
The dockside nachos are as advertised. If you're on the island you must try them. I loved the handcut fries and shrimp tacos. Best of all, they have the friendliest staff on the island. Hours are slim but so are most others post COVID. Usually the staff is terrible. Not the case here. Well done.
Let's start out. The food was simply amazing and the customer service top notch beyond reprise. The Mahi Mahi was seasoned very well to complement the flavor and the home made giant fries were simply to die for. Frozen lemonade was super sweet super cold and just what the doctor probably didn't order but you need it anyway!
It is a nice place for lunch with an awesome view. The service is great, the plaza has enough parking space. The food is fresh and delicious. Four stars are only because there are no healthy options with substations. For example, I would prefer to pay extra to switch from fried potato to green leaf salad, also it would be nice to add guacamole to the menu.
Food was really really good with a service to match. The owners were really nice and went above and beyond with their service. Gave my kid a small treat and goldfish when we went back the next day. We went Thursday and Friday. Will definitely be back everytime we come to the island. We had the shrimp tacos and a burger called the big chief if I'm not mistaken. Yes the fries are HUGE. I wish we had something like this here in Houston.
