New Favorite Diner! Open atmosphere. Delicious coffee always filled to the brim. Biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had. Green chili top notch. Pancakes are the size of a dinner plate and so fluffy and delicious. Have to try the home fries. Portion sizes are HUGE well eorth the prices. Our young waitress is very good at her job and kind. They also have homemade baked goods. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.
Food not bad. French toast bad tho. Really bad. When we put the card on the check for them to take it, waiter asked us how much tip we wanted to give them. Very strange. We said “don’t we do that afterward?”, and he said “no just tell me now!”. We did. And then when we got the receipt, the total amount before tip was 2 dollars more than what we’d seen before yes with tax. Total. Won’t be going back.
Would give a 4.5/5 if I could. Really impressed with the quality of the fish here. Especially for a land locked state! Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. Nothing was fishy/pungent. Everything was smooth and the salmon was almost creamy. The food was ready pretty quickly. Downsides: Our waiter seemed inexperienced so I’d take off .5 stars for that and for the salad dressing’s sweetness. Otherwise overall very good for what it is and not too expensive. My chirashi bowl had a very good amount of sashimi—I was surprised. And it all tasted great! Definitely would recommend!
Pancakes hands down a family favorite they taste like vanilla birthday cake..was a win even for my non pancake eating child- Had a bacon avocado Skillet was ok biscuits and gravy not a go burger and fries was ok and a green chilli cheese hasbrown- we will come back ..but just for the pancakes!! Service was great atmosphere was nice
The staff was delightful and friendly, the food portions were huge for the price and one of the most delicious breakfasts I had there in the area. I would definitely make it a point to come back and try much more of their food !
We love coming here for diner food! I have to say, the Mazatlan skillet is one of my favorites. The French toast has a corn flake crust and worth a try.Food: 5/5
This is a great little place for bacon and eggs. I wandered in just randomly and was treated like a regular. The food is great. The staff is nice. When I find myself in the area, Chalet is where I am going.Food: 5/5

This is a classic middle class family restaurant, complete with a tattooed biker chick waitress and a table full of senior men who have clearly been meeting here weekly for years. If this is what you seek, The Chalet does it very well. Classic American diner food. Denny's, minus the chain feeling.Food: 4/5
