I came here around 5pm on 2/24/18 for a birthday for my cousin. Of course it was busy & we had to wait an hour or so since there was 5 of us, which didn't make me super upset because it was busy & it was a Saturday night. what makes me give a 1 star review is the service. although I don't remember her name, there was a hostess who came up to our table to take our drink orders because our actual server was busy I assume which I understand completely. I'm assuming she was one of the head hostesses since she didn't wear anything black. I ordered a water & a tropical smoothie & I heard the hostess repeat back the order which was right. My other cousin ordered a tropical TEA. so the lady repeated the order back to herself but I overheard her say tropical smoothie after my cousin ordered her drink. but I said make it a tea to ensure that my cousin got the correct order. My friend ordered a Mango smoothie as well, my other friend & their mom ordered cocktails. I would assume that all special orders such as smoothies & cocktails would be made at the same time & delivered at the same time; however, this was not the case for me. my cousin got her tropical tea (which weirdly had two straws & we kept wondering why), my friend got her mango smoothie & the others received their cocktails all within 5-10 minutes after the order was placed. at first I assumed maybe they're just taking too long or forgot to grab my drink from the bar. our server was busy in general, didn't really check on us until we got our food which took maybe almost an hour to get. I couldn't get anyone's attention to ask about my drink until the rest of our food came. I asked the lady (who happened to be the lady who took the drink orders) about my drink & she thought I ordered a tropical tea. after I said i asked for a tropical smoothie, she still asked if I wanted it & of course I said yes because I have been waiting on it for a whole damn hour. she assured me she'll get the bar to make the smoothie. my entire table was hungry, so we finished our food in 20 minutes. I did not get my smoothie until 10 minutes after receiving my food & by time we were done, it looked like I barely touched my smoothie since I was already almost done with my meal & I had to take it to go. also we figured out why my cousin got 2 straws in her tea because she assumed I wanted a tea but even IF I did want a tea, why would I share the same cup with my cousin? had they given 2 separate cups of the tea earlier, I would've cleared up the confusion about my smoothie. I was STILL charged for my smoothie even though I barely drank it there, I didn't even finish it after I left the restaurant. I was getting super impatient as I was waiting for somebody to bring me my smoothie throughout the entire hour of us waiting for our food. also my friend, whose birthday was that day, spent $60 on her ticket & her food was not even worth it. it didn't look worth it either, just dry. I ordered pasta & the noodles were stuck together so I assumed it was done early & just sat there or just wasn't cooked properly because it wasn't good. overall, the service was not good. my mood for my friend's birthday dinner was not good seeing that everyone at my table received their drinks before me & I spent the entire time waiting on a smoothie that I barely drank & STILL got charged with it.

So I ordered a To Go order today. Food was decent, however something does need to be done about the Curb Side to go spaces. I honestly did not want to get out of my car to get my food as I have just gotten off work in a plant. However when these spaces are taken up for well over 30 minutes by the same cars without people in them it's easy to tell they won't be moving anytime soon. Also had to turn around since I was missing part of my order. Not pleased at all.

I wasn't planning on driving 45 minutes in the rain with my pregnant wife to be told we had to wait another 2 hours by a girl with no patience In a room full of irritated people who had been waiting far too long for their tables. For that amount of time I could drive to Charlotte or Atlanta and get better service and less of a wait than I had here. We eventually left before being seated because of how irritating the wait was. We won't be back. You should stop paying people to write 5 star reviews for you. I’ve kept my word to this review and haven’t returned. Charlotte and Atlanta still get my business, but you won’t.

Upon my first review I had an isolated issue with an employee who did not represent the service level of The Cheesecake Factory. I want to thank the manager, Stacy, who reached out to me and corrected this situation. My visit after this was resolved was excellent as expected meaning the food was great and the service was quick and friendly. Thank you again for taking the time to right a wrong it says a lot about this chain and their superb management.

Poor service. I went in to buy a slice of strawberry cheesecake; the employees behind the counter was having a conversation and laughing while I'm standing right in front of them. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself at work, but when it comes to taking care of business, take care of it first.
