Mission: We create memorable learning experiences through the joy of play in hands-on exhibits and programs.

Story

Hands-on interactive exhibits - from a tornado to a 1909 Dentzel grand carousel to an airplane to a skyscraper - creating learning experiences to last a lifetime for children aged 1 - 12 an their families. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompained by a child while on campus.

This place is awesome for my 2 year old! It is so much better than 20 years ago when i was a kid. We had such a blast and there's even an enclosed area for children under 5. I love the outdoor play area. I love the interactive exhibits. My son loves the birds and the disco room! He also enjoyed the fire truck. It's THE place to go when the weather is too extreme, and worth getting a year membership for you and your little one.

Pretty good. It would help if the staff walking around would help explain how some of the stuff works. The fishing stream just had a bunch of magnetic fish piled up at the end. No one (out of a big crowd) could figure out what was supposed to happen.

We went to the museum while visiting some family in Memphis. We were so impressed that we bought a membership to use next time we visit. Our 2.5 year old had a blast in the under 4 area, but also enjoyed the exhibits geared toward older kids. The splash pad was a big hit. We're looking forward to seeing the carousel when it is restored. I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of all of the facilities, and the staff was very friendly.

A fun place for children to play and learn while doing it. Indoor and outdoor play areas. Kids will love this place and parents too!

We were able to enjoy the museum with our 2 & 1 year old nieces. So much fun for them especially in the shopping center and area for younger kids. But there was a lot more to do and we would be able to come back and stay busy as they get older.
