This place is an absolute must see! If you're on Beale St and want a true history experience from the perspective of an individual who was there; then this is the museum to see. Mr.Withers was the man responsible for capturing some of the most iconic images we've seen throughout history. This museum is only part of his vast repertoire of photos he took throughout his career. I highly recommend this museum. If you go, ask for "V" she's extremely knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic.

I love this place! We weren't allowed to take pictures of exhibits but they had a picture room treaty with pros and plenty of opportunity to snap pics. The ladies here were truly knowledgeable about history and willing to share it. We were welcomed to stay add long as we wanted.

This is a very extraordinary place, I have the wonderful privilege of actually knowing the owner and the history behind this family. If you are on Beale St you must stop in and take a look.

A nice museum of photographic works that cover much of the history of Memphis ( good and bad ). Well worth the visit for a true perspective of the recent past .
