About Us:

The Concrete Protector is the concrete industry’s most trusted supplier of products, equipment, and training to protect, repair and design concrete. The Concrete Protector was started in 2009 when, after attending a decorative concrete training event, Joe Quick and his brother L. J. decided to start a decorative concrete installation company. They had been in business for the previous three years with a commercial pressure washing company, focusing on washing exterior concrete for commercial stores and restaurants. It made great sense to not just clean the concrete but to protect, repair, and design it… to transform concrete, making it beautiful, and in the process, save it from the destruction of freeze/thaw cycles, salt damage, and harsh environmental elements.

In April 2011, The Concrete Protector began developing a full line of affordable, environmentally friendly chemicals to make existing concrete look like wood floors, marble, tile, granite, slate, and more for significantly less than the cost of these other materials. In the time since The Concrete Protector started, decorative concrete has exploded into a multi-billion dollar industry. Contractors in many states and multiple foreign countries have started using The Concrete Protector’s products.

The continued growth led to the recent acquisition and relocation of a 25-year-old Indiana Company, Sani-tred. Sani-tred manufactures a rubberized coating that can permanently waterproof and repair basements, pools, ponds, fountains, roofs, tanks, decks, high traffic floors, driveways, and more. No other product in the coatings industry offers more potential money making applications for contractors.

In 2014 The Concrete protector made the move to their new corporate headquarters in the previous Fifth Third Bank building in downtown Wapakoneta, OH. The move provided 13,000 square feet allowing The Concrete Protector to build a state of the art training lab to provide extensive hands on training for new contractors. Also that year, a new satellite distribution and training center was opened in Upper Darby, PA. The Concrete Protector of Philadelphia is equipped with a classroom, demonstration area, and showroom to support contractors and their clients.
