The Dip is a rebirth, of sorts. From the start of 2004 until May 2006, The Dip was the alter ego of Serendipity Coffee Shop, where by day we were a coffee shop and cafe and by night we turned into a small music venue that went by The Dip moniker. It has been many years in the making but we are once again going to be bringing a consistent mix of independent music to Redding.
But it isn’t just great live music that will be a mainstay of The Dip. We plan on bringing to downtown the type of craft beer bar and craft cocktail bar one normally finds in cities such as San Francisco, Portland or Seattle.
Our mission is to create a unique and engaging environment centered around craft beer, craft cocktails, live music and events so as to provide a consistent mix of exciting experiences for those individuals who are looking for a destination and lifestyle one commonly finds in larger, more culturally diverse cities.
We want to do our part in adding to the great local businesses Redding has to offer and help continue to improve the City we call home.
