Recently rated # 1 on OPEN TABLE for OC, the Dock is a unique, waterfront restaurant. The infused Continental Menu is creative, and approachable with a harmony of well balanced flavors and seasonal ingredients with an accent on presentation. The kitchen is tiny, so some patience is best, especially on busy evenings. The wine list is fairly priced with a very good selection of domestic and European wines.

The Dock is a great little restaurant on Newport Harbor. Although my wife and I have never been here for dinner (it looks amazing), we have been a few times for there brunch. About the location: The location of the Dock is great as it's a small restaurant in the quiet part of town. You also get water views wherever you sit which is a plus for us. The doors and windows looking out to the water are open and the breeze comes right in. About the staff: We have never had a bad experience here with the staff members. Since the restaurant is small they are always very attentive and provide fast service. About the food: The food is what we love the most here about brunch. It's a two course meal that also comes with a delicious muffin. They have plenty of options and my favorite is usually the Gravlax for course one and the Benedict's for course two. They also offer mimosas, beer, and wine which is nice. If your looking for a quiet date place to visit, the Dock is a good choice for family and friends or special occasions.

Ate here for a baby shower. Great mimosas!! Steak tartar was good!! Their burger was also delicious!! Parking was very easy to find on a Sunday morning . Street parking with 2 hour limit. Dessert was soso.

The food was excellent go.with.the House Favorites. Ask to sir at the bar or you will wait forever. Is this the one with the Sushi? If so sit @ the bar by Sushi ladies and just.eat.sushi!!

In street parking is hard to discover for Sunday breakfast however we handled. Metered parking is rather inexpensive at simply a couple of dollars for 2-hours (limit). The pre-fix menu for breakfast has scrumptious alternatives. A bit pricey due to the fact that there's an additional charge for beverages like coffee, juice, Bloody Mary beverages ... The yogurt readies however sweet. The French toast was soaked however otherwise lovely discussion. The compressed melon course is revitalizing although the carpaccio was too dry. The omelette readied, absolutely nothing unique - simply egg with some sausage topping. The seating location was well embellished and with comfy rattan chairs. We asked if the dining establishment might shut off the heating unit however was informed that the dining location (exposed to outdoors) is simply warm due to the covering on the patio area. A minor breeze made it manageable. Can not picture how hot it should be when it's warmer than 71 ° exterior. The service got along and effective. Quite valued. Great deals of dining choices in the location. Great to take a look at The Dock.
