Absolutely love this place. I hadn't been in awhile and decided to go for a Sunday Funday as I love, love, love Dauphin Island. The Estuarium is small but packs a fair amount for the size of it. Has three main tanks offering all kinds of insight to the fish varieties surrounding our area. Also has a bunch of mini tanks with all different kinds of other sea creatures from an Octopus to Lionfish to the bizarre like a frogfish. They even have hands on exhibits  where you can physically touch horseshoe crabs and other little creatures. They even have a tank outside that has a couple different varieties of Stingrays! Another note is that if you plan if right you can watch live feedings of all the big tanks and stingrays. This place is very insightful to our waters that surround our area and offers a glimpse of what we might otherwise not see. Everyone should see this place at least once. One of the many things to do on the Island.

Very nice. You can go through the whole thing in about 20 minutes, comfortably. If you stop and really look at every exhibit you can probably stretch it to an hour. At $11 or so per adult it was fairly pricey for what is there but the exhibits are high quality.

Very educational. You can pet stingrays. They have a small play ground for little ones. Lots of inside aquariums.

some of the tanks seemed to be on the small side, but overall a great place! good variety and display of wildlife, and a very good gift shop!
