It's great for breakfast/brunch/lunch. When it's nice out, I definitely recommend taking a walk in the courtyard. There is a small hedge maze and beautiful of a lake, fountain and entire property of Founder's Inn/Regent University. The decorations on the inside are a little dated but some might say it adds to the ambience. The do an awesome (and very pricey) buffet for special occasions like Mother/Father's Day and Easter and a live session band playing smooth jazz while you eat! I would recommend everyone who lives in VA and even visiting check it out at least once to really admire the beauty of Founder's inn!

What an amazing day way to feel relax! I received one of the best manicures from Samantha today! I was so relax and comfortable we had a great conversation! Suzannah was knowledgeable and polite! She did such a good job on the massage! Hit all the points I needed her to and asked me about pressure! I will definitely be back! :)

This is a great classic place. The standard rooms are decent. It's in a busy area but it doesn't feel like that when you're on the property. The grounds are very nice. the restaurant there is nice casual. The service is excellent. Off-season has some great values if you're looking for a place to stay. It is 30 minutes from the beach.

The location was great. Easy to find, easy parking. Check in was fast. The facilities we're beautiful. We ordered wine for a small get together and the service was prompt and attentive. At 32$ a bottle though it was hard on the budget😉. Still, we would probably do it again.

Our wedding was in Norfolk so we decided to stay at the Founder's Inn while we were in town. We made the right choice. Our room was spacious (we had the fireplace suite), the internet was excellent, and our dog was welcome! We especially enjoyed the very large dog park on the property. Our dog had a blast running around the fenced area right near our room. They allow dogs to stay in the room (if crated) so we were able to leave her for short bursts of time as we rounded out final wedding details. We had a breakfast and dinner at the Founder's Inn as well. Both were excellent. The breakfast was buffet style with a good selection and the dinner featured some really great flatbread choices (as well as steak and seafood options). Beautiful spot in Norfolk - we strongly recommend this spot (especially if you have a dog)!
