I actually had to cancel my reservation for this past weekend due to illness!  However, I had booked through a 3rd party company (Bookings) .  I'm so glad I called the Hampton Inn Greenwich in VA Beach personally, because MATT was so kind as to completely clear my reservation without charge even though I was within the 48 hour window that would have charged me $94 for canceling if I had done so through Bookings.  Many thank you's to MATT who helped me and also gave me some education about reserving directly through Hampton Inn instead of using other reservation companies on line.  MATT is a great employee :)

I stayed at this hotel when my apartment flooded. During that time a huge snow storm hit Virginia Beach that left what seemed like a foot of snow everywhere. The GM and staff were amazing. The GM helped me on two separate occasions to shovel snow and get my car out of the parking spot the snow trapped it in. An additional staff member also came out and help push my car when it got stuck during the moving process. They staff were super friendly and went above and beyond considering the circumstances. In addition, the hotel itself was very clean and warm during the storm. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Room smelled like pesticide and construction started promptly at 8AM. Otherwise, it was fine.

We are staying in on of the newly renovated rooms and they are very nice. Matt the front desk last night was extremely helpful and nice to myself and family.
