I don't like to give bad reviews, but the service was horrible. We had a large party of 14 for a birthday and some of us didn't receive our food for more than an hour, and when it arrived a few meals were wrong. Side dishes never showed up until after we cancelled them. The manager apologized, she said there was no kitchen manager, and she had to step in to help cook. She gave us all 20% of our dinner which essentially covered the servers tips, we knew it wasn't their fault. Anyway I hope they get it together. We still had a good time being in good company. Try at your own risk.

This past weekend my brother-in-law reserved the grove restaurant for my sisters 50th birthday party. The grove did not disappoint. It was everything that we had hoped it would be. From the initial planning with Shannon, the manager; to the event itself, everything was magnificent. The food was delicious, the facility was gorgeous, and the service was simply outstanding. It has become one of my new favorite spots. Thank you to Shannon and the Grove for a job well done.

Great neighborhood spot, bar stays busy. Call ahead as restaurant may be closed for special occasions. Restrooms clean. Great view of golf course. Year round porch. Service can be slow at times, hostess always smiling and attempts to fill in gaps. Food is slightly above average, good not great. Chef and management open to constructive feedback which is a positive.

Arrived at 7. Told I could not order for 20 minutes because they were backed up in the kitchen. People I sat with ordered around 6. Still waiting at 8. HORRIBLE!!! I couldn't order or drink ( empty stomach). Waste of my time.

I dined here in on a Sunday afternoon in Feb. Although everyone was not totally happy with their meals, we had a great time, and all 9 went home feeling fine. Why? It was because of our server who was excellent, and she went out of her way, with just one hour to closing, to accommodate us. The kitchen was perhaps in shut down mode which made the wait for the entrees a bit long, and some items were unavailable. Our nice server made the most of the situation. We had appetizers - buffalo wings, crab dip and mac & cheese with braised beef. The first 2 were great, however the dippers for the crab dip were too few for our large group, so we asked our server for some chips. She graciously complied bringing us the best old bay chips - simply delicious with or without the dip. I did not taste the mac mixture bc it sounded weird. Three out of 4 who tried it did not like it. It’s great to go with a big group so you can try new things and share appetizers without filling up too much before your real meal. Most of our entrees were very good according to others in the group. Two people who ordered burgers (photo below) were very happy, and having tasted the sweet potato fries, I can say they were delicious. The crab cake was a generous size and I heard no complaint from, without a doubt, the best cook at the table. The kids meals looked good, and there were no complaints from the 2 picky eaters. Two of us ordered chicken curry (see the photo below). Big mistake - like ordering fessant au glass at a seafood restaurant or pork ribs at a Japanese Steak House. Still the chicken was tender and the broccolis was good. Only the sauce was lacking, hey, but what’s in a name? If I’d never had REAL curry chicken, I wouldn’t have been disappointed, right? One person had steak which looked very good but, was reportedly over cooked. Still if presentation and looks are prime, that dish and all others deserve an A. Desserts were all delicious and reasonably priced from the pecan pie to the ice cream sundaes, and not to forget the delicious cheese cake. Most of us agreed to come back again perhaps for brunch or Sunday dinner but a bit earlier next time.
