Pete Vomvolakis and Austin Welch, with the help of hardworking and supportive friends and family members, have transformed an original 1930's Aptos home into a beautiful new restaurant and bar. Pete and Austin have both worked in the local restaurant industry for years and are well known in the community. The Hideout will serve classic and updated American comfort foods: delicious appetizers and small plates to share, soups, large salads, sandwiches,burgers, hearty entrees-- something for everyone.
