Went to get pinch clamps and or hose clamps and  the old man in the plumbing department was zero help. I showed him a pinch clamp that I got from a different aisle and asked if he had any hose clamps of the same size. He replied without even looking at me or the part that they're in the same bin. But I didn't get the pinch clamp from a bin or even that aisle. Better off walking around aimlessly then asking someone.

We ordered carpet from Home Depot.  At the time of the order we told the we had radiant heat in the floors and that the tack strips would have to be glued down not nailed.  They hired JW Flooring to do the installation.  the installer showed up, tore out the old carpet, installed the new pad, tore out large sections of old tack strip and then started nailing the new tack strip down.  We protested this and he said it would be fine.  The supervisor for JW Flooring showed up and the nailing issues was brought to his attention.  He said "well, lets hope it works out."  It didn't.  We have spent the last several months trying to get them to deal with the issue and have been ignored by both Home Depot and JW Flooring.  Very disappointing.

Let's face it. We come here for the prices... not service or quality. Always a gaggle of young employees near the
loading doors... they know nothing, don't bother asking. They will stare vacantly as self consumed customers park in the loading zone preventing the rest of us from pulling in and loading the materials we had the courtesy to gather and pay for first. No one knows where your special order is, please wait for half an hour while we find it. Frequently no carts to be found, or leastwise not the ones you need for the big heavy stuff. Where are they? In the back of the store full of inventory that hasn't been put away. Want to order a door? Good luck, no one is there... please wait for half an hour while we find someone to help you. No there is no button or magic lamp to summon help, ask someone in another department to page the person... they won't respond, but at least it gives you something to do while you are pulling your hair out. These are all slight exaggerations... but not too far afield. Very few quality power tools to be found. Anything on the higher end will have to be special ordered, unless it's an impact driver. Go look at their finish nailers and tell me if you find even one that has a metal magazine... all plastic. Try not to step on it. Cheesier and cheesier every year.

Rarely have a good experience here. They are normally out of stock of items, most associates have zero interest in helping or making eye contact. I only sbop here for certain items that I know I can't get at a similar price and warranty.

If mendo mill weren't such thieves I would support them on occassion.

Only good thing I can say is they at least HD will honor the warranty on lawn items.

Avoid to have hardwood floor done through Home Depot. We decided to buy hardwood floor materials and have installation done through Home Depot. It was a mistake. 

It was pleasant to work with the flooring department manager Teresa. But the other departments are so disorganized. Have no idea when to deliver the materials. We had to chase them multiple times. The order for hardwood floor installation was not passed on to the installation company. It's been several weeks since we paid for the whole service, nothing has been delivered.
