Absolutely a horrible experience with the rental department. Rented a piece of equipment when I got to the job site the machine would not start so i had to take it back (2 hour round trip). I had to wait an hour to get the machine fixed. Finally got back to the job site and I noticed the the attachments they sent did not fit the machine. Another trip back to home Depot and spoke with a manager who told me the best he could do was reset my time from the time I left with the right attachments. I lost almost a full day of wages having my employee sit and wait on a job not to mention my time and gas to run back and forth.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I spend easily 80 thousand dollars a year at the Home Depot in general, but have spent around 40 in the last four months at this location. I am there so often that the staff knows me and recognizes me whenI come in. I bought new doors for a house that I am working on and I got one of them the wrong size. I tried to go back to exchange it and they refused because I didn't have my driver's license on me. It is well worth the extra drive to go to lowes. Home Depot just lost my business forever.

Update: Home Depot spent a lot of time fixing the situation, their delivery service is horrible , they should take it from the 3rd party and move it in house. I've had a ton of great experiences shopping at Home Depot, not sure why it is so hard to get good customer service from the appliance delivery. Buy appliances from Lowes, I buy a ton of appliances every year roughly ($25,000/year), but generally purchase from Lowes. Occasionally I'll purchase from Home Depot, during memorial day weekend Lowes' website wasn't functioning properly, so despite terrible delivery experiences from Home Depot I purchased from them to take advantage of Memorial Day prices. What a joke, I realize it generally takes them a week to get the stuff in to deliver, what they tell you up front which is fine, what isn't fine is for the delivery company to MISS the delivery date, which has happened several times.....the reason I prefer Lowes (I've never had an issue with Lowes; delivery, they always show up unlike Home Depot) today devilry shows up a week late with half the order. Where is the other half? the delivery guy gets snippy.....your delivery service just cost you a customer. Not a good idea to purchase from Home Depot unless you like headaches.

I love home depot, but must give this one a 4 star. Its so hard to get employee's attention here. I hear its the most busy one in Utah, but please compensate. I've been to other home depots in Utah and they are much more friendly and helpful.

I went to buy paint for the very first time ever. I literally had no idea what I was doing. I thought I picked a swatch and go find the paint. (dumb, I know) After wandering through the aisles for 10 min, I asked an employee for help. He was no help. He just made me feel bad for the brand of paint I was looking for. Saying that I must not care about quality or what my house will look like if I buy this brand of paint. They must get some sort of commission for selling Behr. After a few minutes of this and trying to have him walk me through the process, I turned around and left in tears. I wish I caught his name so I could file a formal complaint.
