Had to stand in line a long time to pick up an item that I purchased online. But once it was my turn, the staff took really good care of me. Not only did they help me get my item to my car, but they had really good answers to questions that I had and helped me find some other items that I needed. They were very patient and helpful.

I was at the East Greenbush Home Depot, and i needed a key made. The customer service rep who directed me to the key section was very pleasant. These 2 stars are for him. I stood there for about 10 minutes wondering around looking for someone to help me. I finally find someone. I approach him and say "excuse me" and he looked me IN THE EYE and blatantly ignored me. He then proceeded to go look at the display of sinks towards the front... not only was it rude, but it was awful customer service.

Absolutely abysmal experience. Ordered a new patio door in April. First the company they contract out with cancelled our measurement appointment because they "no longer contract with home depot". Finally got a measurement and ordered our door. Took a month for door to arrive, another two weeks to  set up install. When they finally arrived to install door was broken. Another door had to be ordered and it arrived to the store first week in July. Now it's the 12th and can't get in touch with anyone regarding install. Josh, the expediter, hasn't returned multiple calls. We own a new home and have many upcoming projects to do. Suffice it to say we will NOT be using this home depot to complete them.

I couldn't find anyone in lumber to help me, so I left without purchasing the would I wanted. I came in to purchase a Stanley 4 ft level that was on special online... There were none and no one was there to ask. You really need to come up with a better way to serve your customers. It's frustrating and a waste of my time. How about a number system like a deli? Or a call button from the section you are in? Walking around trying to find someone is not a good experience.

I was looking for a throttle cable for my lawn mower. Couldn't find one so I asked a nearby employee of the store. He said they don't carry that item but he went online to the manufacturer website and found it. He printed the three pages for me to bring home.
Above and beyond, I would say, and I forgot to even ask his name. Hopefully, he will see this and recognize himself.
