Terrible management, and it shows. I have been here several times. After inquiring why their panel saw has been out of order this entire summer, I discovered that it has in fact been in and out of service for SEVEN YEARS. The employees are forced to refer people to the Highland Heights Home Depot because they cannot cut their lumber to size to fit in vehicles.  Are you kidding me? Myself and others are taking their business elsewhere, and the lost profits could have paid for the saw many times over. I feel bad for the employees who have to put up with this on a daily basis. Upper level management ought to hold the store manager accountable.

Not a great example of a Home Depot. Staff really doesn't care about their job, or whatever you're working on at all. I walked in at about 8:30 AM to the lumber section and had to wander for about five minutes to find anyone, and when I did find them they were essentially huddled in a corner talking with 3-4 other staff members. Their saw was out of order, and no one could give me a straight answer on whether they could cut something for me, nor when it would be operational again. I walked out, since a 4x8 sheet of plywood simply won't fit in my car - I suspect others have had similar trouble recently.

This is pretty consistent with some of the other visits I've had here, sadly.

Does the Home Depot management read any of these reviews? I'd say "please replace all cashiers here with robots" but it's like they already have. Emotionless robots. 

On a rare occasion, you may find a helpful employee. But I must say, it is RARE. If you find one, learn his or her name, and just ask for that person. 

Otherwise this place seems to pay its employees to stare at cell phones and play hide-n-seek with would-be customers.

Awful customer service. Avoid asking anybody for anything from this store. They really have no idea where anything is or what they sell. If you're looking to rent a drill...or anything at all don't come here. REESE in the tool rental will simply roll her eyes at you and look at you like you're incompetent. When in fact she could not find the drill herself and then asked if I'd like to purchase one. Sorry but doesn't that defeat the purpose of tool rental? Just save your time and the hassle. Go to Lowe's!!

I purchased a carpet cleaner along with other things and went through self checkout where my receipt was checked twice as if I was trying to steal something.  I guess all African Americans shopping are theives until your receipt is checked twice.  I'm very unhappy with the how they did this and wonder if they do this to all ppl who shop there or just African Americans. I was embarrassed to say the least because ppl we're looking at me as if I got caught stealing.  Guess I will be shopping at Lowe's from now on.
