Tony Hilmoe, was very helpful and useful in helping me go from Department Department showing me where to go helping me pick out the things I needed to use for my projects and he's very friendly also Lee Mewhorter, and the paint department was awesome. I forgot my paint swatch and you kindly told me I could call him ( Lee ) which they normally don't allow paint orders. Then to top it off Travis (?) was my cashier and he was excellent he actually followed me outside due to my handicapped abilities and wet/dry gear since it was raining so hard. He was just an excellent all-around person to work with from start to finish. My experience has been the best I've experience at any Home Depot in this area. Apple Valley Home Depot you rock! All these employees should be commended and given raises her what they do especially working with somebody that doesn't know what they're doing. Thank you all so much.

Not Helpful. I counted eight employees standing together, while customers were left on their own. Multiple store associates looking for a product and voicing their disgust with fellow co workers in the general public for all to hear Mass confusion and poor product knowledge. This is not a one visit situation, time to find a new home depot......... On a positive note. There is a very pleasant woman that works in the garden center......

Employees not too knowledgeable. Some are great workers and excellent customer service. Others just try to hide the fact they don't know anything by just being rude. If you know what you need and know where it is you'll be fine. Other than that good luck finding someone who knows what a 2x4 is.

Service at this location is the best of any HD I have been to. Paint and garden center staff in particular are great.

I agree with some of the other reviews here. Staff is not knowledgeable and act rude to avoid helping customers. For example, I asked an older female where to find some solder flux. She threw up her arms and said "I have no idea what that is sir, you're gonna have to find someone else bye." Make the trip to Menards instead.
