I love this boutique hotel!!!  When I pulled up, my family and I were welcomed by an approachable and nice gentlemen, Mo.  Stacey and Blake were excellent during the check in process and I like how they are not scripted like big chain hotels. Everyone I had encountered seemed to care and that only comes from the top management down. When it come to the hotel design, a lot of thought has gone in the design of the hotel and the rooms with a fast and reliable network. The attention to detail it great with the upscale Grohe fixtures to the coolest lighting system I has ever seen in a hotel.  This hotel will be my go to place when visiting Santa Monica.

Super nice rooms with great amenities and technology. Love the decor and the furniture. Only complaint is that the bed is too soft.

View showed on the website, did not match actual rooms. Rooms don't directly face the ocean.. All views are partial. Missed cleaning room twice. Hotel provided $100 off bill and $50 credit off food and beverage. Bathroom was not restocked daily. Food was good at Penthouse restaurant on Saturday but it is very noisy have to talk loudly to the person across from you.

Beware!  The hotel charges a US$25 Amenities fee on top of their advertised nightly rate which they do not advise on check-in.  This supposedly, along with a lot of other services which are usually included at no charge in good hotels, includes water which is actually marked as complimentary.  The rates are high and I've never stayed in any hotel where such a charge is automatically added at the completion of the stay.   Also, I was not offered any invoice at the time I left the hotel.
Very sneaky - why don't they just add it to the room rate to start with. 
Also, there are renovations going on and so guests have to enter by a side door!!!

What a lovely hotel. The accommodations were beautifully modern and the staff was nice. And it's close to the beach and other fun places.
