The employee working the front desk was a joke. She was clearly on a personal call, didn't acknowledge us as we approached and made us wait about 5 minutes before attempting to end the call. The credit card receipt from a previous guest was still on the counter. She gave me attitude when I had her put mine away because I didn't want mine left out like that. The rooms are nice though and the location is decent.

At first judging from the location and name I thought this place would be a sleazy motel. But it definitely is not. It has about 40 rooms spread out through  2 floors of 3 cute buildings that were built to look like Spanish Era California. The room doors are all facing outdoors so even though there are no elevators the first floors are accessible to those who might not be able to use stairs. The rooms are not super modern but they are far from being outdated. There is a TV and free internet. The rooms all come stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. In the morning there is free breakfast, the typical hotel breakfast you will find at most decent hotels. The staff at reception is helpful and I never once had to go track one down. The room keeping come every morning and we never had an issue with cleanliness during our entire stay. The only down side is the parking lot is TINY and the hotel is super easy to miss because it is hidden at the end of a ramp into So Camino Real. Other than that for the price I would defiantly recommend.

The room was nice, and the location was good, but our room wasn't ready when we got there. We took a 7 hour drive over with reservations. Now that I think about it the room could have been better because it smelled like someone smoked in there when it was supposed to be a no smoking room.

I really liked this hotel. I got a room with a king sized bed and a sofa bed. The rooms have a microwave and fridge and a bathtub with jetstreams so it can be like a Jacuzzi. It was so relaxing. They also have WiFi and continental breakfast.
They do not have a laundry mat on-site.
They also have really nice red wallpaper.
For the room I got it was $169.
The women in the office were really friendly and helpful.

This hotel completely ripped me off. I booked through Expedia. My flight was delayed so I called to cancel. The fee was waived through Expedia. The Mission Inn charged me for one night anyways. I would avoid these shysters.
