It was the best museum that I have ever went to! I would not bring your children to the museum because after awhile if you are interested in one section you child will get bored. There is great service and the workers are so nice! And also if you love history then you will love this museum. If you where in the Navy or milatary then you will have a price of $10 and not the regular price.

The lighting equipment weren't well maintained thus content are not as well presented as Gettysburg battle field park. The front staff were rude and not very professional, it looks like a family owned business. Replicas were more than ideal comparing to the the original objects. Manikins were much appreciated. I do like their media presentations, although due to no sound proof material installed on the walls in room with multimedia presentation, which might interfere with viewers experience in other exhibion room. Great location with great view of nature.

If you are in Harrisburg/Hershey, you MUST put this museum on your to-do list. The price of admission is very inexpensive ($10 for military) and the display is absolutely impeccable. I honestly got emotional seeing all the relics, like uniforms filled with bullet holes, and knowing some young man fought and lost his life in the war. The life-size displays are incredible and so realistic. I just can't say enough good things about this exhibit! I'm so glad we went! The gift shop is also filled with neat things that are very inexpensive to take home (we came out with a bag full that cost around $20). The tour is self guided, but you will enjoy every second of it and the attendant in the guest shop is quite helpful in telling you where to go. JUST GO TO THIS MUSEUM!!! :)

Cost us $22 (regular fee for seniors each) to enter even though it closed in 1 hour (not fair!). No DVD's to purchase (would like to purchase the best reenactment) even though they have clips throughout the museum. It mentioned the Articles of Confederation - where are they? I thought the only issue was slavery (there's 12?) Otherwise, excellent museum. Employees are nice.

Enjoyed following several families experience from before the war, through it and immediately after. The museum is located in a beautiful setting. Lighting of the exhibits is generally dark and often produced a glare.
