The Nest Cafe provides a comfortable and ideal dining experience in a coffeehouse setting that feels like home. Our roots are in Alpharetta and we thrive in the heart of downtown. With the everyday, neighborhood-friendly atmosphere we strive to create for our customers, we continue to grow - in the city we have always known as home. We offer specialty coffees, espresso, teas, herbal blends, craft beers, select wines and a european style breakfast, lunch, and even dinner menu! This includes coffees, teas, breakfast croissants, panini, salads, soups, shakes and smoothies, sandwiches, as well as our Nest Cafe sweets and treats!

I was very disappointed in my experience with this place. I ordered their Honey Toast which I thought would be French toast, maybe made with honey, and the description said there was ice cream and berries - so I thought this would be an interesting composed breakfast dish. It was a bowl of ice cream with berries in it and what seemed to be previously frozen bread that had been completely submerged in oil in a fryer and then covered in powdered sugar (which wasn’t powder anymore because it had soaked up a bunch of grease). Okay so it didn’t look the way I had expected it to, no big deal. But the toast was more like a huge crouton in texture and so so so sweet. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The syrup for it was very sticky and tacky and also way too sweet. I had ordered a side of sausage with my meal but it never came. My boyfriend got his meal nearly ten minutes before they brought mine and he was almost finished when mine arrived. The girl from the counter came out to tell me that the kitchen had put my sausage on his plate and that the order was only one piece and I asked her if that meant that I was now supposed to take that piece off of his plate?? She said yes. So I felt bad for taking the last bit of food my boyfriend had been looking forward to finishing! The sausage was good. The coffee was good. The rest of the experience was terrible. As we left, my boyfriend mentioned that his eggs tasted like they were precooked buffet style and that must be why his food came out so quickly. Never again. At least send the two dishes at the same time.

Nice coffee and sandwich shop in a quaint setting. 

Kids loved the waffle-on-a-stick breakfast option. Espresso much better executed than the big chain alternative.

Our best gathering place for brunch on Sundays after church, when the weather is nice.  Good food, latte, excellent and polite service.  I wish they had more tables outside and better ventellation to sit inside when weather is not cooperative for outside dining.  But it is highly recommended for weekend breakfast or lite lunch.

Great Breakfast / Brunch spot.  Try the California croissant, Turkey and brie panini. Apparently kale and spinach taste amazing in their Tree of Life Smoothie according to my daughter.  Dog friendly patio out front.

My family had a great experience at lunch sitting outside porch. Tasty sandwich, fries and yum coffee. I would definitely give it a try next time. Customer service seems wonderful.
