This was the most delicious food we had in Pigeon Forge! The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was always a wait of 45-75 minutes while we were in town, and they don't take reservations or call-ahead seating. Pros: 1. Wonderful food. I got the Old Forge's Whiskey Burger, and it was a knife-and-fork type burger...huge and delicious. I tried a little from all the entrees at the table, and everything was tasty. We also had the pimiento cheese, and we liked it so much we ordered some for take-out a few days later. I don't even like pimiento cheese, but theirs was just fabulous! 2. Lovely patio dining. We ate on the patio, and while it was hot in front of the building, we were very comfortable at our table. When I walked through the patio a few days later after it had cooled down, they had heaters out keeping the temperature cozy. 3. Text paging. They took my phone number when I went to the host station. I received an immediate text showing that they had my number right. Then I could sit in the chairs in the courtyard or wander through the nearby shops until I received a text saying that our table was ready. Cons: 1. No reservations. There was always a wait, even at times that are off-hours for most restaurants. It would be nice to be able to make a reservation instead of waiting on site. We waited over an hour for our table. 2. Crazy host station. There was a long, crowded line going to the host station when we first checked in. Once we received a text, it was hard to find someone to take us to our table. They were very busy, but didn't seem to be moving very fast at the host station. 3. Takeout. We called in an order of pimiento cheese to go, and it was ready in 20 minutes. The wait time for a table then was about 45 minutes. Overall, thumbs up!! I would definitely return if I am in Pigeon Forge again. We would have eaten there more times during our visit if we could have made a reservation.

One of the most fantastic places I've ever eaten. It's better than "The Old Mill" restaurant across the street, meals here are made for every order so a lot more care goes in. I happened to eat here twice, our waiters were kind and one of them was very fun and charismatic. The food was in the top tier, I had the Pimento Cheese BLT which was highly flavorful and delicious. Among their salads I tried the House Caesar Salad which was one of the best Caesar salads I've had in a long time. They have a side item which you may consider strange but it is absolutely something to try, the Jalapeno Corn Pudding. I also had the Grilled Salmon which was delicious with is wild rice and sauce and I tried some tomato basil soup which was highly perfected in both flavor and creamy consistency. The restaurant carries both raspberry and peach iced tea and both were delicious. The thing that struck me the most about this particular place though was that they grind their own grain, bake their own bread, and craft their own plates and bowls. The establishment also has a lovely pottery shop a few doors down. The last thing I want to say about The Old Mill Pottery House is the outdoors atmosphere which felt so relaxing with the running water and landscaping as well as the cozy trees above. Please visit this restaurant before any other in Pigeon Forge, it's fantastic and it's kind of like a hidden gem known by the locals.

My family has been going to this restaurant for years and we keep coming back to to it year after year. We love the atmosphere and outside seating. It has a beautiful outside garden dining area. The food is always good and service polite. All the dishes are made at the Old Mill Pottery Shop next door. The bread is baked fresh in house. Great choice if you are in the Smokey Mountain area.

Amazing! My hubby and I ordered pecan chicken breast with a sweet potato, yummy! The bread is to die for too! Our male waiter also gave us excellent service! Would recommend this place if your visiting in Pigeon Forge.

The food is very good and always tastes great. Hostess lost our reservations and acted like we did not give our name to her but another lady came over and did remember us. The waitress was not very friendly and seemed to just go through the motions, no people skills. The home made bread $6.10 a loaf but very good. I would go back for the food but they need better people who take time to care about the customers.
