I want to say this hotel is wonderful. Sadly I can't. The line at reception was close to hell. Waited almost an hour to check in only to be told rooms would not be available until 4pm. Other people received keys to rooms, but we did not. This was at 2pm. We then had to get back into line at 4pm to actually get room keys. It was ridiculous. The elevators were not fit for purpose. Three small elevators for 14 floors. Apparently the staff elevators are not working and they are using the guest ones, meaning guests are left to wait for them for a very long time. Maintenance needs to be done throughout the hotel. There are lots of damp and peeling areas in Reception and it's quite unsightly. Rooms are lovely, and the kitchen and balcony is great, but it looks like the staff can't cope with the number of guests.

I’m mixed about this place. Fernando-The big manager is great to deal with. He makes things right and makes you feel very comfortable when you aren’t big on complaining but feel it is needed. Also love the housekeeping department and their manager. All of them are very sweet and eager to help. I absolutely love Charlene at the front desk as well. She is a breath of fresh air when your stay hasn’t been due to the weather and an ER stay for my 3 year old during our stay. The reason for the 3 stars was directly due to the front desk supervisor during the day named Tasha. I’m assuming her name is Natasha but she goes by Tasha. After our stint at the emergency room during our stay we were exhausted. We got back to our room after being at the ER from 12am until 10am with no sleep in between, to find a phone call from Mrs. Tasha stating she was the manager and I needed to come down to fix a mistake on my bill right away. When asking Mrs. Tasha if we could get some sleep and come down in a few hours to fix it and explained to her in tears as to our reason for being exhausted and that we weren’t leaving for a couple of days anyways, she stayed we were to come down immediately and did I understand that. I felt she had a job to do however from one human to another she could understand I had been up all night with a 3 yr old in an unknown Emergency Room and just wanted a few hours of sleep. I then ignored her request and went later and fixed it. I heard her through my stay talking to other hotel guests the same way. Other than her and her rudeness everything else about the place was great. The hotel is perfectly located as well. Walking distance for my 3 yr old to the boardwalk, pier, etc.

Very disappointed. Room was nice, clean and AC worked great. Bathroom was so small it would be super inconvenient if there were actually more than one person staying in this two bed room, (it's the length of tub) oh yeah tub doesn't drain, toilet barely flushes and as long as you enjoy warm showers only, and not a hot shower after being out all day you'll love it. Rust and rot visible all through the 1st floor which is actually the floor below the main floor. Kind of has that 3rd class titanic charm. My room had a great view "coastal " of the peeling paint of the parking garage 10 ft from the sliding glass door. Love the security of those, very 70s. Love my dirty and rusty outside seating area located in the back corner of the building. The main floor and conference areas were very nice however. I was here for a conference so maybe attendees are lower level guests and bigger $ will get you a relaxing room. But save yourself some $ and get a better room for less at a H I Express. My stay was not "resort" quality.

A great experience except there's no hot tub available for guest use unless you pay to go in one at the spa. Rooms were nice, breakfast was amazing too. Great stay!

Everything here was great as a welcome reprieve after early check-outs from 2 other hotels in the area. It was like a breath of fresh air. Ahhh, finally!! GREAT, beautiful hotel and staff!!! We will be staying here again if we're in the area.
