Stopped by for a couple drinks. The bartender was really nice and the drinks were great. Love the low lighting and atmosphere. I'll have to try the cheesesteak next time I come in.Food: 5/5
I used to love spending Sunday mornings at the the racket playing pinball and having a cheesesteak. Unfortunately, they no longer open at 11am. I’m not exactly their target demographic and it gets busy when they do open so I don’t go nearly as often as I used too. I had a friend visiting and he really wanted to check it out. We went on a Thursday shortly after they opened at 4 pm. We ordered food and drinks at the bar. Service was fast and both the drinks and food were delicious. We headed upstairs to play some pinball and this is where I was disappointed. Two machines had out of order signs on them. Three other machines had various mechanical issues that hindered play. Things like weak flippers and balls getting stuck. I also attempted to play the claw machine but the claw wouldn’t close which made it unplayable. I’ll go back again because I love the food but I’m not sure if I’ll play pinball there again.
I had a unique drink something with Chai and whisky and root beer and it was delicious! It was NYE, so it was busy, but great service and fun atmosphere. Would recommend.Service: 5/5
Love the pinballs and the relaxed atmosphere. Good beer selection too!Food: 5/5
Can't say anything about the food, but the beers on tap were good and the pinball machines were great!Service: 5/5
Forget open face, this is the new and improved "open everything" where all your fillings can slide freely from the hands of gluten. Complete lack of steak, complete over fulfilment of pepper expectations, ZERO cheeze whiz on the contemporary, and on top of all this, they want more than $2 for the side of cheese whiz that it's supposed to come with. Color me confused, but you guys should close the kitchen once they run out of talent for the night.
Went on new yrs, staff was friendly, drink was good, and games were fun. Just nerdy enough to get my introverted self to go there.Service: 5/5
Great High-End, Top Ten rated, pinball machines. In great shape - well maintained. Good bar, too!Service: 5/5
Such an awesome pinball dive bar. Falafel is ridiculously good, not to mention the cheesesteak. Tasty beers and a plethora of cocktails with house-infused liquors. Often able to unwind to the sweet sounds of metal or other heavy tunes. One of my favorite memories was going on an off-time and eating at the bar while the bartender and I watched and kept quoting The Addams Family, which was playing. And the pinball? Damn right it’s fun! This is just a great spot to relax and enjoy a little escape from life.
Surprised to find a Medieval Madness in full working order in here. Beer and Philly Cheesesteaks were good too... what more do you need?
