The best ribs I've had in a while. Beats any rib fest around. Crispy on the outside and fall off the bone tender meat on the inside. Along with golden crispy fries made the perfect meal. My partner and I shared the full rack platter and was plenty full. Definitely really great bang for your buck! Lone chef and a hidden gem I would definitely return to. On the outside it doesn't look like much and even seems a little boarded up but once inside, a retro looking diner filled with regulars. The chef and owner works surprisingly long hours but still great food and extremely hospitable service. A must visit for sure!!

Picked up a rack of back ribs and two chicken halves, grilled with BBQ sauce, today as a first time client. Ribs seemed a bit over cooked (hard/dry meat in places) with fat still attached, neither rendered nor trimmed. Chicken was OK, a bit dry but cooked well. Caesar salad was 'meh'...fake bacon bits? In Toronto? Sauce for both meats was very good...seemed a mix of Memphis-style with Korean. Overall price was good. Might give it another try sometime to see if it was an off night.

What the aesthetics and atmosphere lack, the food more than makes up for. It's an interesting crowd, and has the feel of a more downscale establishment. But, the owner is really nice, and the food is so worth it! Had their ribs and wings, and didn't regret it one bit. It's worth visiting!

This place looks a little rough from the outside but they make a mean rack of ribs! These are probably the best ribs on the city. They fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The half rack platter is perfect for most, but if you're up for a challenge go for a full rack and you'll be satisfied. The fries are cooked perfectly. Golden brown, little crunch and nice and soft in the middle. Friendly staff and pretty quick; takes only about half an hour when you call your order in. Great prices too. Average cost for two people coming in at $25. The beef short ribs have a great flavour but you need some teeth for them.
