Such a great hotel! Great location, conveniently near a metro stop. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Local free yoga classes! Room was clean, spacious and nice. Pet friendly. Great rate! They switched our room with no problems when there was an issue with the first. Only issue I had was the bed was too soft (bad back, my issue) and the kitchen top was old and probably needed to be replaced. Highly recommend!

We got our room last minute. The lobby to check in is nice and the hotel is located in Foggy Bottom, really close to the subway stop. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchen and nice beds. What really made a difference was the staff! I forgot something really valuable in the room after we checked out, and they found it and gave it back to me. Perfect experience!

I've been going to The River Inn for a yearly work event for the past 6 years. I have never once had an issue, and indeed, the staff is utterly professional, courteous, and personable. Keith, in particular, is a consummate pro, and always remembers us. The food is exceptional, personally picked for us by Keith, and he never fails to impress. And, of course, the drink selection is top, and he always knows exactly what to recommend. Not yet disappointed, and I know a few things about drinks. I've never stayed in the rooms, so I can't directly speak to them, but I can't imagine they're anything but perfect, given every other aspect of their experience.

Had a beautiful, well-appointed suite with view of the Potomac. Clean, comfortable, friendly, and very helpful. The location was perfect. Close to everything and a nice quiet neighborhood. Bed was very comfortable. I would defiinitely go back again and again and again.

Stayed here about 7 years ago and loved it so much that I made sure I stayed here again this time round. Great value for money with excellent staff and a great restaurant on site in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel to both business and holiday travelers.
