An excellent experience and great alternative to staying at a chain hotel. The service is impeccable, Dion (one of the managers) was especially helpful. They offer your unlimited free water, chocolates, and a glass of wine in the evening. The rooms are homey and comfortable. Would stay again!

My wife and I decided to go on a stay-cation for our wedding anniversary at the Avery Georgetown. Immediately we were greeted by the hotel's attendant Mr. Diondraye Nichols. Throughout our stay Mr. Nichols was extremely welcoming, attentive and helpful with any questions or needs. Service was great and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The Avery exceeded our expectations. We will be returning. Thank You!

Went to The Avery in Washington DC. The heat in my cute little room malfunctioned and the owner immediately upgraded me to a beautiful room and helped me move! He was so nice about it and accommodating!!! I even get free minibar stuff. Coming back here for sure.

Fabulous off the beaten path boutique hotel/guesthouse in a converted neighborhood house. Phenomenal service with a small but excellent staff. Convenient location to Georgetown food & shops but nestled up the hill in a quiet neighborhood. Coffee in the AM; beer/wine in the PM. All good.

We had a one night stay at the Avery and enjoyed the experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The only thing we felt was missing were bath robes!
