The rooms are nice & big but the heat/AC units are too small. The temperature has really dropped last night and it took from 10:30 at night until about 5 in the morning for the room to get warm. Back the place is really unique and nice overall. The restaurant and Country Store are really old fashioned and interesting to browse.

Oh, there are no microwaves or hair dryers in the room. There is a refrigerator tucked away inside a cabinet and even an ironing board and a small single cup coffee maker. The bath towels are really huge and plush.

An outdoors friendly Campers Paradise!! Buffet next door to motel along with the BEST Smoked Brisket this side of the Mississippi! Camp fires & grounds to chill at night(Wood Provided w/roll wagon) The Scene here is just comfortable as you can get at a fair price...Rooms are great! In the back its like your own back porch just kick back drink a cold beer & enjoy nature with the smell of wood burning! 20 STARS!

Beautiful area! Rooms were nice. The country store was so cool to walk through! They had rockers and benches located through out the property so you can sit outside and take in the atmosphere of country living!

You can tell it's a tourist trap if you come in a big crowd they are quick to seat you and greet you if you coming by yourself you can be considered lucky to even get noticed stood in line for 15 minutes waiting for the hostess sat at my table for another 15 minutes waiting for somebody to ask me if I wanted something to drink

Have you ever walked into a hotel room & wondered what stains may be hiding in that gaudy bedspread? That didn't happen here, because all their bed coverings were white. And clean. I wish I had taken pictures. The room was roomy, the bed felt safe and comfy, and they had an in-room fridge and coffeemaker! There were even a couch & coffee table so we could comfortably watch TV. We didn't go to the restaurant but we were at a party where the subject of barbecue came up & all the locals who'd eaten at the Smokehouse spoke highly of it.
