Me and my wife love love love!!! This place. We both are from Cleveland, but live in DC, so every time we come home we go here. Our absolute favorite item on the menu is the blackened grouper sandwich. Do yourself a favor and get it on a burger bum instead... Trust me. Atmosphere is great for couples and groups. We actually had our wedding rehearsal dinner here 2yrs ago. The staff is always great. Come ready to relax, eat great food, drink awesome beer, and have fun.

The wife and I love going here! One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken and Waffles! They serve it with Cinnamon Butter, Maple Syrup, and Sriracha We often take our out of town guests here to impress them with the variety here in the Cleveland area! Good food, good service, nice environment. It can be noisy when there's a crowd. But it's a lively place, so that's too be expected. I'd definitely recommend South Side Restaurant!

My girlfriend, best friend, and I went here to ring in the new year with a good first meal on the suggestion of my best friend, and while there was a 40 minute wait, the wait on such a busy day was well worth it. 
To begin, we got the fat kid nachos, and oh my goodness, that chorizo gravy reintroduced me to nachos in a way I have never seen them before. (I usually skip over nachos in an appetizer menu, because, well, they're usually just nachos.)
My girlfriend got their tacos (2 short rib and 1 chicken) which were only $10, and worth so much more than the money. We were extremely impressed with the flavors they captured in each taco, and their meats were tender a wonderfully flavorful. 
The real star of the show, however, was the chicken and waffles that my best friend and I ordered. The waffles were like funnel cakes, the chicken was juicy with a wonderful fried exterior, all served with cinnamon butter on top of the waffles and Sriracha and maple syrup on the side. Simple and wonderfully made, just as comfort food should be. 
It is apparent that the people at the The South Side love what they do. The food itself shows that they do their work with love and attention, striving for perfection and elevation in each dish they put out. We will certainly be back soon.

Went there for lunch. Ordered the Turkey burger. It was prepared perfectly. Burger was moist and flavorful. Basil aoli was delicious.

The food was excellent and priced right. Great beerselection and plenty of parking. I would go back convenient to RT90
