We are so excited that you have found us, and we cannot wait to show you why so many parents have told us, "There's no place like Sundance!" We have had the privilege of helping thousands of children to grow and learn over our more than 35 years as educator, and we know from experience that every child has unique and amazing gifts to bring to the world - and Sundance is where they can shine!

We are dedicated to bringing out the very best in every student. We have educated young mathematicians, musicians, artists, actors, scientists, historians, writers, and more, allowing each eager mind to thrive and develop in its own individual way. Sundance offers an extremely low student-teacher ratio and a very challenging but developmentally appropriate academic program. Our programs for the Creative Arts offer every child the chance to have a truly joyful learning experience that builds self esteem and self confidence. We provide an inspiring, creative, loving environment where every child gets the attention he/she deserves.

Our goal is to instill a true love of learning in the heart and mind of every Sundance student. We believe that intelligence comes in a multitude of forms, and it is our greatest joy to help young minds discover their many talents.

As a Sundance parent, you will be embraced into a community where you are encouraged to share in the joy of your child's Sundance Experience. Our teachers are always eager to share anecdotes that highlight your child's day and discuss his/her blossoming interests. We offer year-round opportunities for parents to participate, including two theatrical performances for every class, an interactive "Happening" where our auditorium becomes a multi-sensory, interactive, museum quality learning exhibition, along with Reading, Math, and Game Nights, and much much more. The Sundance Parents' Association gives you the opportunity to meet new friends and to enhance your Sundance Experience, and our office and administrative staff is eager to assist in any way.

Coming for a visit is the best way to see what a unique and special environment Sundance provides for young children. Tours are available year-round and can be scheduled using our online system or by calling the office. Many of the people on our staff are or have been parents of Sundance students. We are proud to say our two boys had the chance to experience all that Sundance had to offer many years ago when the school went only through the first grade. Now we can provide this nurturing experience for the cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth for children through the 5th grade! We have every confidence that your child will shine their very brightest at Sundance. We look forward to hearing from you!

Mission

There is no time of life more important to the growth and development of a human being than the period we refer to as Early Childhood. There is no better facilitator for the positive growth and development of young children than love. At Sundance, we express love for children by treating them, their families and each other with warmth, patience and kindness. By providing positive role models we teach the children one of the most important lessons in life; to treat others, as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Our love for children is expressed through unconditional acceptance of each child as an individual with a unique learning style and developmental timetable. We help every child to develop an appreciation for his or her own gifts and a desire to learn without fear of criticism or making mistakes.


Our love for children is expressed by our enthusiasm, and our efforts to create an atmosphere charged with positive energy. Using our own creative imaginations and love of learning, we nurture the imagination of the children, and provide an environment in which the creative arts and intellectual curiosity flourish.

Our mission is to help each child grow to his or her full potential emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically and creatively, and to experience real happiness and joy in their first home away from home.
