Attended The University of Texas at San Antonio as an undergrad. Graduated from UTSA with Bachelor of Arts in Communications: Public Relations and Technical Communications. Did so much during my time at UTSA from 2009-2013. Definitely making this long story very short in deed. Plus since the add of UTSA Football back in 2011 made this school much better for sure. Can not wait for year seven of the UTSA Football Program during the 2017, and many more decades to come as well. Thank You God for everything as well. I recommend this institution to anyone else. Now And Forever An Roadrunner!

Not nursing friendly!!!! I give only two stars because they're not nursing friendly. If you want to be a nurse, please go somewhere else. They completely ignore the needs of nursing students and although they have the nursing prerequisites they currently have no clubs for nursing and most of the time the academic adviser do not know what to do with nursing students. But especially if you are a veteran such as myself. The health professions office gives you a little bit of help but they're understaffed. UTSA will do their best to get you to forgo your nursing dreams and get a bachelors degree ( In something else). The previous nursing society for the last two semesters, no longer exist but they're trying to get one going just to be told " we can't participate in UTSA events". Just disappointed that a growing school would ignore such a huge population of their students.

Man I've never felt so welcomed in my life. I transferred here, and I don't regret my decision at all. The people here are warm, friendly and encourage success to the fullest.

If the administration did not discriminate against the LGBT community than it would be a much better place.

The classes are very very easy. If you got A's in High School you'll get a 4.0 at UTSA. The teachers are decent, some amazing, some not the greatest. Though the school itself doesn't have a good reputation like many of the other schools in the UT system, subsequently it might be hard finding internship opportunities unless you have prior connections. The dorm life is probably the worst of it, if at all chances you can live off campus do it. Alvarez is terrible, the floors are cement and the walls are bleak while the cost is 769 dollars a month. If you are to move on campus, Chap isn't half bad but many places off campus are 2-300 dollars cheaper while also being much better quality. The cafeteria food is mediocre, but the staff is terrific and friendly. Also it's not a very academically rigorous school. Most of the classes you go to unless attendance is part of the grade only 40% of the students show up, meaning the tests are frequently pretty easy as they try to pass the majority of the class.
