I was in here a few days ago. I was greeted by a young lady right away, I said I'm just looking for now. After looking around I decided I had some questions about the feet scan that tells you how you step to better dictate which shoes are best for me. Well I didn't quite get the instructions right away on how to step on this mat and the sales rep that was less than thrilled to help me. He almost seemed pained to do his job. I know customer service can be hard, but maybe he needs to move on. Seeing the ratings now, I should have done that first, it would have saved me some time.As he was trying to help me which was so fake and almost aggressive in his sales technique. The only reason I gave them a 2 was the girl who greeted me was friendly, I should have waited for her.

I had to double check and make sure I was posting to the right store when I saw the 1.9 star reviews. I feel the store I visited was completely different; I was greeted immediately even though the store was a little busy. Heather came and helped me out and she was the most knowledgeable person I’ve even experienced in a retail environment. Sure I was sold to but in a good way. I learned so much and actually spent more than I anticipated but honestly feel great about my purchase. I usually purchase my shoes at Nordstrom or online but the walking company is going going to be a frequent visit.

I stopped by yesterday into the store. I felt like I had two sleazy perverted car sales man/woman trying to sell me shoes!!!! I'm completely disgusted to their approach to making a sale. I've been coming to this store for years and never have I encountered such pushy employees. They insisted I go through their step monitor to check my arch and see what size shoe I am. First of all I'm in my 40's I know what shoe size I am! I'm not going through your step machine every time I come into the store! IF A CUSTOMER SAY's NO, DON'T PUSH IT! If your shoes are so good, you don't need to sell an insert for every shoe you buy. I've purchased there insert in the past. There terrible! They only last a couple months, cheap and thin and not worth the money. In my opinion the inserts that come with the shoes are just as good if not better than they junk they try to sell you. NOTE TO THE OWNER AND MANAGEMENT: It is obvious you train your employees to sell this way. Your ratings for your store are less than stellar. This is the 21st century. Your stone age sales tactics are outdated. If you want a customer to return, you shouldn't make them feel dirty walking out of your establishment. I was so applauded and disgusted by your two sales reps. I felt like I needed to jump in the shower after I left the store. PULL IT TOGETHER AND TRY TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!

Nicole helped me with an exchange. Easy and fast. Thank you! When I've been in here it's always been a good experience. Sales people have never pushy or wierd, always answered my questions nicely.

Usually my customer service is pretty good but this time since I was making a return I was dealing with a manager who was not willing to give me a store credit on closeout item. I have a boken bone in my foot and am wearing a boot. I knew summer would be over before I could wear the shoes so I wanted to return them for a store credit and buy some fall shoes and work shoes when I could try on both shoes and was not wearing a boot. I am a good customer and buy my work shoes hear all the time. Had I known about the no return even for a store credit, I never would have bought the shoes. Horrible policy and horrible cusomer service. Not shopping at the Walking company again.
