I bought a Brooks running shoe a few months ago.  They selected the shoe based on the foot pressure test machine.

After a break in period of a few weeks (which I have been doing for decades with new shoes), I tried a short run.  After about a mile the ball of my foot hurt really  bad.  I immediately stopped running, but the hurt has not gone away.

My podiatrist diagnosed metatarsalitist which is commonly caused by a bad shoe.

I suspect the problem was caused by an incorrect shoe selection based on the pressure test or a bad shoe.

I tried to return the shoes but the manager refused.

I went for the first time to the walking company. They seem to have comfort shoes with arch support. However, the service at the fashion valley was uncomfortable to say the least. There is a white male in his 50 that really has bad attitude. He really make me feel unwelcome. He seem to be really nice to older people than to young or none white customers. I thought at first he had a bad day but when I went there a second time to return a shoes from online purchase that didn't fit right, he used me in his conversation to his customer as an example to not purchase online otherwise they end up returning like me. He talk as if I am not there. That make me very uncomfortable. I will never go there again. I will try to go to the UTC one.

Yeah love their dress shoes, cool smart wool socks and my favorite is my Oluaki sandals!

Quick service and great quality! 5 years ago my hubby bought Echo dress shoes and Olukai flip flops...we go in today to replace his old shoes and the same exact ones where here. Thank goodness bc they are super comfy and he loves them. The girl helping us out was great and quickly found what we needed. In just a few hours my hubby's knee is already feeling better since he is wearing the right shoes with arch supports.
